300L UNICROSS student stabbed to death by suspected phone thieves in Calabar

 Cross River State University, UNICROSS, Calabar Campus, identified as Ford Moses Nkasi, was killed by attackers suspected of being armed robbers. 


It became known that the incident occurred near the school's administration building, a few meters from the security post, around 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 3.


The visual arts student reportedly witnessed a gang of three, stealing a female student's smartphone.


And is said to have chased the thieves who made away with the phone , while trying to get it back from them, he was stabbed several times with a dagger and bled to death. 


Sources speaking to Cross River Watch said the student died twenty minutes later when his colleagues took him to the hospital. 


Two of the suspects were arrested by UNICROSS security services, while one managed to escape.
