The police in Lagos state have reportedly arrested two individuals at the Lekki tollgate as Nigerians plan to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the October 20 EndSARS protest that became bloody.
One of those arrested claimed he was a journalist while the other individual stormed the tollgate with a placard in an effort to stage a protest. The individuals are presently in police black maria vans.
The state police command released an announcement on Tuesday warning citizens of the state against staging any road protest.
According to the announcement, only indoor and virtual events will be allowed.
