HOW TO MAKE PETROLEUM JELLY AT HOME
Petroleum jelly also known as Vaseline is an oil based ointment that can be used to moisturize and soften the skin.
Petroleum jelly or Vaseline can be used for wounds, burns, redness, irritation, discomfort and dry skin.
Making petroleum jelly at home is easy as all ingredients are affordable and can be found in the market and organic ingredient stores.
MATERIALS NEEDED FOR MAKING PETROLEUM JELLY.
400ml parafine oil
10 gram candle wax
500 gram petroleum jelly
20ml fragrance
PROCEDURE
. In a plastic bowl, pour in parafine oil and candle wax.
. Heat it, using a double boiler.
. Stir till candle wax dissolve.
. Add petroleum jelly and stir till it dissolve,
. Remove from heat, allow it to cool a bit.
. Next add the fragrance and stir well.
. pour into any container of your choice,for it to cool and mould properly before using.
