Having a dark skin is very easy to maintain, You can apply essential oils combined with skin butters and still glow without any blemishes.
But most times, people with dark skin find it difficult to get creams that actually suite their skin, for fear of tempering with their naturally rich melanin skin.
Most of my clients with dark skin always caution me never to mix any whitening ingredients into their lotions, some say it's very easy to maintain a dark skin than a light skin, but I tell them it's also easy to maintain a natural fair skin, only a bleached skin is difficult to maintain, for fear of getting dark, people with bleach skin often spend more to maintain their already made complexion.
I got some request from Clients, to show them homemade organic recipes, they can mix themselves to maintain their dark complexion.
Below is how to make chocolate skin Lotion, oil, scrub and soap.
HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE SKIN CREAM
You can make your own chocolate cream using these two methods.
METHOD 1
INGREDIENTS
2 table spoon Emulsifying wax
1 table spoon Bee wax
1 table spoon Stearic acid
1 table spoon Cethel Alcohol
1 table spoon Shea butter
1 table spoon cocoa butter
2 table spoon coconut oil
2 table spoon almond oil
10 capsules Vitamin E oil
50 ml distilled water
PROCEDURE:
In a clean plastic bowl, pour the Emulsifying wax, Bee wax, Stearic acid, Cethel alcohol, cocoa butter, Shea butter, coconut oil and almond oil.
using double boiling method, place wax, butters and oils into boiling water,
Stir slowly and allow it to Melt.
when it melt completely, remove from heat.
Heat the distilled water and pour into the melted wax,
Use a Hand mixer or Egg beater to whisk it.
keep stiring till it becomes a bit thick, add the vitamin E oil and stir well, you can also add fragrance but it's optional.
Get a clean container and pour the cream into it. Apply on skin after bathing, twice daily.
METHOD 2
INGREDIENTS
1 table spoon Shea butter
1 table spoon cocoa butter
2 table spoon coconut oil
2 table spoon almond oil
PROCEDURE:
Get a clean bowl, pour In the wax and oil, use double boiling method to heat the wax till it melts completely, place in the refrigerator for it to cool, after cooling completely, use a hand mixer or whisk to whip it till it becomes creamy and thick. Pour into a clean contain and use on skin.
Note: Keep this cream in a cool place else it will melt.
HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE SKIN OIL
INGREDIENTS:
50ml Almond oil
50ml coconut oil
50ml carrot oil
50ml Beauty series oil
25ml Vitamin E oil
PROCEDURE:
In a plastic or glass jar, pour the oils and mix well till it's completely combined, then pour into a bottle container and use twice daily.
This oil will glow and repair the skin.
HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE SKIN SCRUB
INGREDIENTS:
100 gram white sugar
100 gram brown sugar
50ml coconut oil
50ml almond oil
PROCEDURE:
In a clean bowl, pour the sugar and oils
use a turning stick and stir well till it's completely combined, pour into the container and cover tightly.
Gently rub on wet skin once or twice monthly.
You can apply when in the shower, or Rub gently on skin leave on for 30 mintues before bathing.
This will help exfoliate and glow the skin naturally.
HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE SKIN SOAP
INGREDIENTS:
500gram Powdered or grated African black soap
50ml of fresh lemon juice
5 tablespoons tumeric powder
5 tablespoons moringa leaf powder
5 tablespoons powdered orange peel
5 tablespoons raw honey
5 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon sulfur (powdered)
1 cucumber fruit
4 carrot seeds
20ml Fragrance (mango)
PROCEDURE
First blend the cucumber and carrot seeds with 50ml of lemon,
Get a clean bowl pour the African black soap,
Add tumeric powder, Moringa leaf powder, orange peel powder, white sugar, and sulfur.
Next pour the blended cucumber, Carrot seed and lemon, stir with a turning stick.
Add honey and fragrance, stir well and allow it to sit for 24 hours before packaging and using it to bath.
